Replacement Spout Assembly – Clip or Nut – 2+ Gal or 5 Gal SureCan

Please follow the instructions below on how to properly replace your Spout Assembly with Clip

1. Pry locking clip off of spout

2. Grab spout elbow, twist and pull assembly away from the body of the can

3. Lubricate o-rings on new assembly

4. Insert the end of the spout assembly into the valve opening. Press straight into the valve opening until fully seated

5. Attach the new locking clip onto the valve body. Make sure the clip and the spout assembly are secure.

Please follow the instructions below on how to properly replace your Spout Assembly with Clip

1. Pry locking pin up with a small screwdriver (careful not to damage the can wall)

2. Loosen the nut

3. Grab spout elbow, twist, and pull assembly away from the body of the can

4. Lubricate o-rings on the new assembly

5. Insert the end of the spout assembly into the valve opening. Press straight into the valve opening until fully seated

6. Hand-tighten the nut, then wrench-tighten until the pin reaches the 1 o'clock position (careful not to over-tighten or cross-thread)

7. Press locking pin down
