The Punisher | DUMP TRUCK!

My name is Wally Wood. My wife, Leah, and I own Beach River Landscapes. We are based out of Jacksonville, FL. We are full scale Lawn Maintenance and Landscape Company. We maintain homes but we primarily manage and maintain large commercial condo associations ranging anywhere from 15-30 acres in total size per property. We offer landscape design and install, as well as irrigation installs.

Our dump truck is a 2000 Isuzu NQR with an 18’ bed with 5’ walls. It has a dump capacity of up to 10tons and has a GVWR of 17,950lbs. When maintaining large commercial properties, a dump truck is certainly a must.

We acquired the truck and painted the cab a Chevy smoke gray while leaving the bed black. We added a roller canopy to the top to secure flying debris. We also added vinyl’s along with GreenTouch Industries’ Racks to the sides. We use the racks to carry equipment such as a weed eater, edger, blower and landscape tools. It transforms the dump truck into a landscape machine. And, of course, a vital part of that tool system is being able to fuel the equipment while on the job site.

For that we have SureCan gas can's. The use of a SureCan on the dump truck is really vital. We run a mix fuel while the can is hanging in its SureCage never having to even remove the can from the rack and that includes fueling the equipment. The EASE of a one handed, simple operation like using a SureCan to fill our equipment while landscaping has been an absolutely awesome experience. That turn down spout is a marvel for fueling had sticks and, it’s tough as nails!

The dump truck has been nicknamed The Punisher, not only for its color scheme but because of the workhorse ability of this thing. It’ll fit 20 cubic yards of mulch, 500 3-gallon plants flat on the floors before any stacking. We can haul loads of dirt easily and barely notice while driving. It has a GVWR of 17,950lbs and we use every pound of it! We LOVE this truck and now, couldn’t imagine working without it!
