You know they say greater love has no man than to lay down his life for another. There have been two people who have ever died for me, Jesus Christ and the American soldier. During Memorial Day weekend, that statement of sacrifice echoes through the memories of those who have paid the ultimate price.
As outdoors enthusiast, there have been many blessings bestowed upon us. Memorial day, stands to be one of the most humbling holidays in the US. It’s a time to reflect on what it really costs to live free.
In city’s and towns all across our great nation, families and friends will gather to celebrate and remember those who made that sacrifice. Without those men and women who laid down their life we wouldn’t be the great nation we are today, but for some people, they wake up with the pictures and memories of those who paid the ultimate price.
This weekend, take the time to reflect on those who didn’t make it home, and to those who have lost a family member, loved one or a friend.
