Snow removal can be a great service to add to your lawn and landscape business! Not only does it bring in more money during the winter months but also can make sure that your customers don't start using another company that has year round service!
The first step is getting the essential areas clear so people and vehicles can get in and out of the property! Clear the driveway, sidewalks, front steps, porch and even in front of the driveway where the snow plows leave a pile of snow from the street! I use a Troy-Bilt 26 Inch Dual Stage Snow blower and a 5 Gallon SureCan to keep it fed on the job.
Another way to help your clients and make more money while you are on the job, offer ice management using driveway safe salt. You can make good money doing this but remember the main goals is to create and manage a safe environment for your customers!
